Detective Pickachu Returns

Pokémon Company showed off a new trailer for Detective Pikachu Returns.  Here the tough talking, coffee loving Detective Pikachu lives in Rhyme City.  In this town Pokémon and people live together.  Pikachu and his human sidekick Tim Good team up together to solve crimes, Tim is the only person who can hear Pikachu talk which will help in solving cases.  During the game the player can switch between Tim and Pikachu to interact with different Pokémon and humans to gain intel on the case.  These cases could be puzzles, riddles, and much more.  In addition, the player can team up with other Pokémon to help investigate crime scenes and solve cases.  For example, Growlith can follow scents and Darumantan can destroy objects.  Detective Pikachu will be released on October 6th, 2023, and available for pre order now.

Pokemon GO

Pokémon Go-Fest 2023 will be happening in the three following cities; London, Osaka, and New York.  This past weekend London and Osaka held their Go-Fest, but New York will host theirs from Friday August 18 through Sunday August 20.  On August 26 and 27, Pokémon Go will also be holding Pokémon Go-Fest 2023: Global, which can be played anywhere.  During this Go-Fest Diancie will appear for the first time ever.  Mega Rayquaza will be appearing in raids that weekend.

Pokemon Trading Card Game

The 1998 Gameboy Color game Pokémon Trading Card Game is available now for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.  In this Pokémon adventure the player must build the ultimate deck in search of legendary cards.  This game features the first 151 Pokémon that were featured in the Kanto Region.  Collect cards and defeat gym leaders in order to become a Pokémon trading card master.  



Pokemon Stadium 2

In addition to the Pokémon Trading Card Game for the Game Boy Color, Pokémon Stadium 2 for the Nintendo 64 is now available on the Switch.  Originally released in 2001, this sequel features all previous Pokémon as well as the additional 100 Pokémon that were added in the Johto Region. Battle against computers or another player in competitive turn based Pokémon battles  This game features the same mechanics as its processor but includes these new Pokémon as well as new a bigger variety of minigames to choose from.
