New DLC Coming to Shredder’s Revenge
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will be receiving new Downloadable content. Dimension Shellshock will be the first paid DLC coming to TMNT: Shredders Revenge. This package will come will come with a new story, new outfits, and new characters.
The new story missions of Dimension Shellshock show the Turtle Squad getting sucked up into a portal that takes them to a different dimension. Here they team up with a new friend to defeat the foot clan in their way home. The main details of the story is still unknown and there was no mention of how many levels this story will consist of. The main story features eighteen levels, so using that a reference we should expect at least ten levels.
Another new thing that this DLC package comes with is “new color variations.” Now you can have different color variations of all the playable characters. This feature changes the color tone of the characters and alters the clothes they are wearing. The trailer shows off lighter and darker versions of Michelangelo as well as a hood option for him. Also shown off was a different version of Master Splinter. One option was to wear a white robe rather than his signature dark red one. This trailer did not feature the playable characters Casey Jones and April O’Neil, but they will receive different color modifications as well.
In addition to the new story, Dimension Shellshock will include new playable characters. Released in the announcement trailer is a new playable character named Usagi. He is a Bunny wielding a Samurai sword. Usagi’s stats have not been released but his combos, specials, and color variations were shown off. This was the only new character shown but the trailer made it very clear that there would be more new characters other than Usagi because in big bold letters it said, “New Playable Characters”. Which implies that more than one will be added.
Dimension Shellshock is a paid DLC and will be available soon for purchase on the eshops for each console. It does not have an official release date but is marketed for 2023.
