Handheld Coming to the Switch

Game Boy, Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advanced games are coming to the Nintendo Switch. It feels like Nintendo is trying to place their whole library on the switch for gamers. Within the past few years we have gotten the NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, and the Nintendo 64. Each virtual console has select titles you can play with future titles still being added.

On February 5, 2023 Nintendo showed off their new virtual consoles during the February Nintendo Direct, that being a Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and Gameboy Advanced. There are great classics that each one has.

Game filters and online. Members of Nintendo online will have access to the Gameboy and Gameboy color while Nintendo Online expansion pack members will have access to the Gameboy Advanced as well as the prior. These virtual consoles are available now.
